Nikolas Sattlberger joined the Rapid Wien youth academy from First Vienna in 2018. He is considered to be one of the most talented Austrian players of his age category along with the likes of Dijon Kameri, Denis Dizdarevic, Samson Baidoo, Moritz Wels, Luka Reischl, Filip Ristanic, Aristot Tambwe-Kasengele, and Tolgahan Sahin. Nikolas has been promoted to the first team before the 2022/2023 season and made his debut on 21 July 2022 in the UEFA Europa Conference League clash against Lechia Gdańsk. He made his Austrian Bundesliga debut just three days later in a game against SV Ried.
