Description:
Obed Vargas joined Seattle Sounders youth academy from Cook Inlet Soccer Club in 2019. After spending two years in the academy, he was sent on loan to Sounders’ affiliate side, Tacoma Defiance. He made his senior debut for Tacoma Defiance on 10 May 2021 in the USL Championship game against LA Galaxy II. He made his MLS and first-team debut for Sounders on 22 July 2021 in a game against Austin FC.
