French football produces many incredible talents and Rayan Cherki is surely one of the most talented of them all. He is a product of Olympique Lyon youth academy. He is an extremely talented midfielder tipped to follow in the footsteps of other famous ‘Les Gones’ youth graduates such as Nabil Fekir, Karim Benzema, Hatem Ben Arfa, Samuel Umtiti, Maxime Gonalons and Alexandre Lacazette. He signed his first professional contract with OL at the age of just 15. He made his professional debut on 17 August 2019 in a Lyon’s reserves fixture against AS Monaco II, in which he scored.
