Ricardo Mathias joined Celeiro de Ases, the superb Internacional youth academy, from Ferroviária in 2022 after a fantastic season in the Campeonato Paulista U-15 in which Ricardo scored 13 goals, helping his team reach the final of the competition. Currently, he is an absolute star of Inter U-17, an interesting team with many exciting talents such as Vinicius Côrtes, João Dalla Corte, Matheus Lemons, Rodriguinho, Allex, Lucas Farias, and Vytor Kawan. He is also a member of a very strong generation of Brazilian players born in 2006 which includes, among others Rayan, Endrick, Luis Guilherme, Pedro, Dudu, Vitor Figueiredo, Felipe Lima, Bernardo Valim, Bill, Lorran, Matheus Lima, Estrella, João Victor, and Camilo.
