Description:

Rosen Marinov joined the CSKA-Sofia youth academy from Litex Lovech in 2017. He is a part of an interesting generation of Bulgarian players born in 2005 which includes the likes of Martin Georgiev, Asen Mitkov, Roberto Raychev, Chung Nguyen Do, Petar Kirev, Nedzhib Hadzha, Aleks Bozhev, Antoan Stoyanov, and Zahari Atanasov. Rosen was named on the first-team bench for the first time on 30 April 2022 in a league fixture against Ludogorets Razgrad. His professional debut next season is almost certain. In May 2022, he represented his country at the European U-17 Championship, where young Bulgarians got knocked out already in the group stages.
