Shumaira “Shim” Mheuka is considered to be one of the most talented strikers of his generation in Europe. He joined Chelsea academy from Brighton & Hove Albion in July 2022. He is a member of an exciting generation of English players born in 2007 which includes, among others Mikey Moore, Ethan Nwaneri, Shea Lacey, Chris Rigg, Divine Mukasa, Jack Fletcher, Christian McFarlane, Kian Noble, and Harry Amass. He is a regular youth international for England. In 2024, he represented his country at the 2024 UEFA European Under-17 Championship and scored during the last group game against Spain.
