He is a part of a very exciting generation of Norwegian players born in 2003 which includes, among others Odin Thiago Holm, Bryan Fiabema, Oscar Bobb, Nicolai Skoglund, Kristian Arnstad, Leo Hjelde, August Frobenius and Tobias Fjeld Gulliksen. Auklend made his professional debut just 6 days after his 17th birthday on 16 June 2020 in a league fixture against Bodø/Glimt.
