Sverre Nypan is one of the leaders of an extremely interesting generation of Norwegian players born in 2006 which includes, among others Sindre Walle Egeli, Anders Rønne Børset, Amir Ahmed Jama, Gustav Kjølstad Nyheim, Andreas Heredia-Randen, Faniel Tewelde, Filip Erik Thorvaldsen, Stian Sjøvold Thorstensen, Jones El-Abdellaoui, and Aleksander Hammer Kjelsen. Sverre made his professional debut on 6 November 2022 in the league match against Jerv – he became Rosenborg’s youngest-ever player at the age of 15 years and 322 days. In May 2023, he scored his first goal against Bodø/Glimt which made him the youngest player in Rosenborg history to score in a league match aged 16 years and 145 days.
