Thalys is a product of the Palmeiras academy – a fantastic youth system that produced many brilliant talents in recent years such as Giovani, Gabriel Veron, Luis Guilherme, Gabriel Silva, Gabriel Menino, Danilo, Endrick, Estêvão Willian, and Kauan. Thalys is considered to be one of the most interesting U17s in Brazil. He showed himself to a wider crowd during the prestigious CEE Cup, where Palmeiras U-19 won in great style and he was awarded the Player of the Tournament award.
