To improve:
– player of a small frame who’s vulnerable in contact duels and needs to work hard on his physicality — even though he’ll probably never become a physically dominant presence
– energetic and tenacious, capable of dispossessing opponents thanks to his explosiveness and aggressive pressing jumps, though his defensive positioning can still be somewhat chaotic
– quite prolific, but still has significant room for improvement in his finishing consistency, mid-range shooting technique, and overall composure in front of goal
– frequency and quality of his weaker left foot usage, especially in tight situations and when delivering final balls
Style of play:
– roaming playmaker/advanced playmaker
– attacking midfielder who’s constantly on the move, he enjoys roaming in the opposition’s half and thrives when given creative freedom — whether as the most advanced option in a midfield three, as a number 10, or even out wide
– player with a low centre of gravity, superb agility, speed, flair, changes of pace, and coordination
– dynamic and skillful ball carrier, capable of progressing play with flair and close control
– highly mobile, he enjoys having the ball at his feet and consistently makes himself available as an additional passing option
– likes exploiting the left half-spaces during his attacking runs, often drifting inside to create overloads or find openings between the lines
– vertical-minded and always looks to push his team forward through progressive passes and driving carries
– good dribbler with futsal-like close control, quick feet, body balance, and high on-the-ball bravery, capable of weaving through defenses with effective solo runs
– shows great confidence in playing incisive passes, frequently unlocking defenses and putting his teammates in scoring positions
– pure difference-maker, capable of influencing the game at any moment thanks to his dribbling, passing skills, and innate creativity
– fantastic footwork, ball control, and trickery in tight spaces
– excellent ball manipulation and the ability to make quick, precise exchanges with teammates even at top speed
– energetic, very positive on the ball, and confident of his skills
– dangerous on the counterattack due to his pace and movement, combining well in fast, 1-2 plays
– good direct and indirect set-piece taker
– accurate penalty taker

Description:
Tomás Parmo is considered one of the most exciting attacking midfielders in South America. A product of Independiente’s youth academy, he made his senior and professional debut for El Rojo as a late substitute in a 2–0 Copa Argentina win over Juventud Unida Universitario on 3 May 2024, becoming the club’s second-youngest debutant ever, only behind Sergio Agüero. He represented Argentina at the 2025 South American U-17 Championship. Although the young Albicelestes fell short of winning a medal, they showcased a promising generation of players, including Matías Acevedo, Francisco Baridó, Thomás De Martis, Álex Verón, and Uriel Ojeda.
