Description:
Yan Couto is a product of the Coritiba youth academy. He was one of the most important players of Brazil national team which won the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup. In 2019, he was one of three Brazilians that featured on a list entitled “Next Generation 2019: 60 of the best young talents in world football” by The Guardian.
Quotes:
“Started off playing futsal for five years, giving him great technique, and he joined Coritiba at the age of 10. He is not the tallest, nor the strongest, but he is extremely quick and is a threat going forward as well as good at defending. His reference point is Dani Alves although his style of play is perhaps more like Rafinha, another former Coritiba player, who went on to spend eight seasons at Bayern Munich and is now back in Brazil with Flamengo.”
