Yankuba Minteh is considered to be one of the most talented Gambian players in the 21st century. He moved to the Danish side Odense BK from Steve Biko FC in the summer of 2022. He made an instant impact for the U-19 side and was given a chance to debut for the first team on 10 September 2022 in a league fixture against FC Copenhagen in which he scored the winning goal just three minutes after coming on. He has been one of Superligaen’s biggest revelations this season – he scored 2 goals and provided 3 assists in 7 league games so far.
