Zoran Záhradník is a product of Zemplin Michalovce youth academy. He is considered to be one of the most talented players of his generation in Slovakia. He made his professional debut for Zemplin on 21 August 2021 in a league fixture against Tatran Liptovský Mikuláš. At the age of 16 years and 2 days, he became the second-youngest player ever to play in the Slovakian top tier just after Andrej Rendla.
