Joelson Fernandes is a product of a famous Sporting CP youth system – one of the most highly regarded academies in Portugal and Europe which raised such great footballers like Luis Figo, Simao Sabrosa, Ricardo Quaresma, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Nani.
