Rayan is a product of Vasco da Gama academy – a youth system that produced many interesting youngsters in recent years such as Douglas Luiz, Paulinho, Evander, Andrey Santos, Nathan, Talles Magno, Marrony, Riquelme, Bruno Gomes, Pedrinho, MT, Arthur Sales, and Gabriel Pec. Rayan is considered to be one of the most talented U17s in Brazil. He is one of the leaders of an extremely interesting generation of Brazilian players born in 2006 which includes, among others Endrick, Luis Guilherme, Pedro, Dudu, Vitor Figueiredo, Felipe Lima, Joรฃo Victor, Camilo, and Joรฃo Dalla Corte.
