Andrija Maksimović is considered to be one of the most talented U17s in the Balkans. He is a product of the superb Crvena Zvezda youth academy. In May 2023, he represented his country and was one of Serbia’s leaders at the UEFA European Under-17 Championship, where young Оrlovi made it to the quarter-final and showed an interesting generation of players such as Matija Popović, Mihajlo Cvetković, Veljko Milosavljević, Nikola Simić, Andrej Petrović, Adem Avdić, Veljko Vukojević, Andrej Subotić, Viktor Stojanović, Uroš Sremčević, and Nikša Delibašić. Andrija made his professional debut for Crvena Zvezda’s feeder team Grafičar on 11 August 2023 in the Serbian second division game against Jedinstvo Ub in which he scored and provided an assist.
