Boli is knocking to the door of the first team along with other very talented Club Brugge youngsters such as Tuur Dierckx, Nikola Storm or Björn Engels. He is a very versatile player, can play as a left back, left midfielder, left winger and even a secondary striker. He made his debut on 26 July 2013 in the first game of the 2013/14 season against Sporting Charleroi. He replaced “Blauw-Zwart” biggest star at the moment – Maxime Lestienne after 87 minutes. Club Brugge won the game with 2-0. It is well known that Boli is a very ambitious and fully dedicated to the football, so You can be sure that this promising young man will become a quality footballer in the near future. It is worth mentioning that he is a cousin of Romelu Lukaku – big star of Belgian national team and Chelsea London (he’s on loan at Everton now though).
“It is still too early to predict whether Boli effectively going to get playing opportunities. He does have a major asset, namely his versatility. Since coming to Club Brugge, four years ago, he played both the U16 and the promises at different positions. During the preparations Garrido stationed him several times on the left and personally I see him grow into a real number five”.
(Bjorn De Neve, coach of the U16 and promises of Club Brugge)
