Predrag is considered to be one of the most talented goalkeepers in Europe. He started his career at Jagodina, where he was brought up. He made his debut in the Serbian SuperLiga at the age of just 17. After playing just 4 games in the senior “Curani” team, many big clubs became interested and just after the start of the 2013/14 season, this talented keeper signed a 4 year contract at the legendary Red Star Belgrade, where he is abackup for Boban Bajković, although he has already played two league games for Zvezda. He plays for Serbian U-19 national team and he was a member of the Serbian U-16 and Serbian U-17 national teams. Radovan Curcic, the coach of Serbian U-21 national team called him up for a friendly match against Israel. He traveled with Serbia’s U-19s to Lithuania for the 2013 UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship, where he established himself as one of the key players in the Serbia squad which has won the competition for the first time in the history of Serbian football. He also made his debut in the senior national team on 17 August 2013 against Colombia.
“We have two excellent goalkeepers, experienced Andjelko Djuricic and Predrag Rajkovic which is a great prospect, not only for Jagodina, but also for the Serbian national team.”
(Mladen Dodic – FK Jagodina manager)

18 months on, and this guy is one of the standout players in the U20 WC win for Serbia (played an unbelievable match against Brazil) and is being linked with the likes of PSG and Roma. He already holds clean sheet records for Red Star as well, so looking like a pretty promising talent. We might see him in a bigger league soon.
