Federico is one of the most talented generation of VfL Wolfsburg players which is being dubbed “Wolfsburgs goldene generation” by the German press. Apart from Palacios, other big talents that are in this generation include Julian Brandt, Tolcay Cigerci, Paul Seguin or Maximilian Arnold, who has done very well in Bundesliga thus far and is already a star in the first team. Federico is scoring goals for fun in the A-Junioren Bundesliga, which is the highest level of German U-19 football. Goals scored per game ratio by this player is unbelievable – 29 goals in 14 games plus 8 assists. He has scored 3 hattricks, once he scored 4 goals in a game and once even 6. He hasn’t made his debut in the first team yet, although he has played in pre-season games. It would not take him too long to make the “Die Wolfe” squad, but few days ago he made a shocking decision – after the current season he will move to a 3rd division side – RB Leipzig.
