Nico Serrano joined Lezama – Athletic Club’s famous youth academy – in 2018 from Villarreal. He made his professional debut for Athletic reserve team on 18 June 2020 in the Segunda División B promotion play-offs against CD Badajoz. Currently, he is one of the biggest stars of Bilbao Athletic along with two other talented players Nico Williams and Juan Artola. He is considered to be one of the most talented players in the club and his first-team debut seems to be only a matter of time. He is also a regular youth international for Spain.
