Description:

Jorthy Mokio joined the KAA Gent youth academy from KFC Merelbeke in 2021. He is considered to be one of the most talented defenders of his generation in Europe. On October 4, 2023, he marked his UEFA Youth League debut in a match against Basel, making history as the youngest Gent player ever to participate in the competition. He made his professional debut for Gent reserve team in the Belgian 3rd tier on 13 March 2024 in a game against Zébra Élites. Jorthy is also a regular international for Belgium – he started at the U-15 level and now he is a member of the U-17 setup.
