Valmir was born in Albania before moving with his family to Sweden when he was two. He has shown his talent in his new country very quickly. Currently he is a Halmstads BK U-19 player, but he has shown himself to a wider audience at the Sweden U-17 national team. Even though he didn’t play much at the UEFA U-17 Championship due to an injury, he was a star at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates. He has scored 4 goals, impressed everyone with his technique and tricks and also scored a brilliant winner against Honduras which was shown on over the world and which earned him a new nickname, “New Zlatan”. On the 8th of November, he and his teammates will play a 3rd place match against Argentina.
“He scores this kind of goals all the time, not just now.”
