League summary:

Allsvenskan 2013/2014 (ongoing): 10 matches/3 goals (BK Hacken)

Carlos grew up in Backa, Gothenburg where he joined the local lower league side Backa IF as a six year old. In 2005 the club merged with Hisingstads IS to form Hisingsbacka FC which is where he stayed and eventually got to make his first team debut in the seventh tier of Swedish football at age 15. In 2012 he signed a youth contract with Gothenburg based Allsvenskan club BK Häcken. There he became the top goalscorer of the U17 league and was moved up to the U19 team at the end of the year. In 2013 he continued scoring goals for the U19 and U21 teams which in the summer resulted in Häcken signing him to a 4,5 year first team contract. He made his debut at the age of 17, during current season on 7th July 2013 in a league fixture against AIK Stockholm, replacing Nasiru Mohammed after 84 minutes of the match. So far he played 10 matches and scored 3 goals at the top of the Swedish football league system. He was also a member and a very effective substitute of Sweden national team at FIFA U-17 World Cup, where “The Blue-Yellow” won the bronze medal. It is worth mentioning that despite being very tall and powerful forward Carlos has very good dribbling, technical and motor skills that allow him to play behind the main striker or even on the wing.

“This is a talent that with good training and a bit of luck with injuries can become a new star of BK Hacken.”

(Sonny Karlsson – BK Hacken sports director)
