Description:

Alexandru since his very early years has shown a great football talent. He has been pushed aroundin different positions – from a center-back to a right midfielder, but he seems to have found his place at centre-forward and that’s where he is making his name. He made his debut in Liga 1 at the age of 16 on the 24th of February 2013 against Petrolul Ploietsi, where he played the final 5 minutes. He had to wait until 2013-14 season for his first goal – and what a beautiful goal it was. He scored a great header which gave Otelul a draw against the giants Steaua Bucaresti. He has already had a trial with Milan, where he impressed the coaches at their youth department. He’s been also scouted by Malaga and Sampdoria, although it seems that it would be best for his development to earn a first team spot at Otelul and continue his development in his home country playing regularly. He has represented Romania on many youth levels, and currently he is a U-19 national team player.
