The whole world heard about this young Atletico Paranaense midfield at the FIFA U-17 World cup in United Arab Emirates. He jumped into the squad rather surprisingly, replacing Gabriel from Santos and became a part of a brilliant offensive quartet with Gabriel Boschilia, Caio Rangel and Mosquito. He scored 5 goals and made 5 assists but despite that, young Canarinhos were knocked out in the quarterfinals by Mexico. Even then, he was nominated to the best XI of the tournament by FIFA. Nathan is a player that is characterized by clinical finishing and even better chance creation. Thanks to his attributes, it is not a problem for him to play either at offensive midfield position, centre forward or the wing.
