Description:

Tahith Chong is a product of a well-known Feyenoord academy – youth system famous for having produced and still producing many great Dutch internationals like Robin van Persie, Stefan de Vrij, Georginio Wijnaldum, Jordy Clasie and Leroy Fer. Tahith has been considered to be a great talent since his early years. It is well known that many European top clubs, including giants Manchester United, have recently shown interest in him, but but it seems that it would be best for him if he could stay in Holland and play in the Feyenoord first team, which he can achieve soon. He made his international debut playing for the Netherlands U-15 squad on 26 November 2013, in a friendly match against Ireland. Currently, he is one of the key players of “Oranje” U-17 team.

Quotes:

“It’s true that Manchester United are interested in me, but I want to just stay at Feyenoord.

Feyenoord is and remains my first choice and we are still negotiating.”
