Description:
Gonçalo Rodrigues is a youth exponent from Benfica. He is considered to be one of the biggest talents of a very strong generation of Benfica players born in 1997 which includes, among others, Diogo Gonçalves, Joao Carvalho, Pedro Rodrigues and Renato Sanches who already signed a five-year contract with German giants Bayern Munich for €35 million. In March 2016, Gonçalo renewed his contract with the “Eagles” until 2021. He is also a regular youth international for Portugal, where he started at the U-15 level and currently plays for U-19. It is worth noting, that he amassed over 45 games across all age levels of youth international football, and this number is bound to rise.
