Niko Kasalo is the NŠ Mura academy graduate. He is considered to be one of the most talented teenagers in Slovenia. He made his professional debut for Mura on 15 May 2022 in a league fixture against NK Olimpija Ljubljana. He is also a regular youth international for his country and he’s one of the leaders of the 2005 generation along with the likes of Luka Poredoš, Tine Čuk, Aleks Ristić, Beno Selan, Mark Stojinović, Lukas Tomažič, and Jaka Cuber Potocnik.
